Reflection
I had a fun time teaching people the Art portion in STEAM, with arts and crafts. If I would have changed something, I would have liked to have more materials.
Team Member Daniela I was surprised with the results from the survey, on how many students had so little college access. Through this challenge, we were able to problem solve creatively to increase access.
Team Member Kristine I am amazed on how the results for the surveys were very low on how many people knew about STEAM. This validated our task to encourage others in such fields.

I really enjoyed teaching students how to code. When I first introduced the topic of coding, many of them had no idea what it was. After some practice, the students fell in love with coding. They became motivated to learn a new computer science language and even started making their own computer programs at home.

Overall I personally believe that we were able to help kids understand that STEAM is multiple subjects through the different projects we did. People who we presented too were excited to learn how to frequency with LED Lights work. Most importantly the kids were happy to take their project home and also knowing that they can remake this same project in different ways at home. It was exciting to see that adults, parents, teens, children, and elderly all participate in the projects and be astonished of what can be done with simple materials.
Team Member Consuelo I was surprised that students who at first knew nothing about STEAM got so interested into the STEAM projects. I would do differently would be better organization of the fairs.
